STARBASE STEM summer camps engage student learners
Throughout the summer, roughly 450 Portsmouth students in grades 4-12 will be taking part in 11 different STARBASE STEM camps with hands-on experiences that reinforce STEM curriculum. These camps include computer coding, oyster restoration, drones, environmental stewardship and robotic programming. The camps will take place on varying weeks through Thursday, Aug. 1. NEW: Summer school graduation taking place Aug. 8
Portsmouth Public Schools will honor all of its 2024 Summer School graduates in a ceremony held at Churchland High School, Thursday, Aug. 8, at 6 p.m. Students from all three of the division high schools will make up the graduating class.
