Students lead new sportsmanship campaign in PPS
The Portsmouth Public Schools Student Athletic Committee has been working to promote good sportsmanship within the division’s athletic program. Specifically, they have been working on a campaign to emphasize the importance of sportsmanship across all athletic programs, ensuring that students, coaches, and the community understand the values of the division. That has led to the production of this video that has been shared online and will be shared at Parent Information Nights. For more information, or to interview students involved in the campaign, email [email protected].
Back-to-School Open House to share special education information

During this time together, families can learn more about the division’s resources as well as ask questions directly to special education staff members. The Open House will be Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 5-7 p.m., at the S.H. Clarke Academy (2801 Turnpike Road, Portsmouth, VA 23707).
