At tonight’s meeting of the School Board of the City of Portsmouth, the Board called for a special
meeting to discuss a possible plan to reopen schools.
The Board will hold this special meeting next Thursday, Feb. 25, at 5:30 p.m. At that time, Portsmouth
Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Elie Bracy, III will present a recommended plan on how the division
can reopen in a hybrid model.
The Board will be able to discuss the plan at the meeting before taking a vote at its regularly-scheduled
March 4 meeting.
