Students in the Manor High School Driver Education Program won the 2026 Virginia Association of Driver Education and Traffic Safety Public Service Announcements Award. The award recognizes outstanding PSAs produced by students to promote traffic safety and responsible driving.
The contest challenges Virginia's driver education students to create a short PSA that encourages other teens to make safer choices behind the wheel.
Program students Deszin George, Victoria Hill and Catlin Johnson spearheaded the project, titled "The Buckle-Up Crew," which emphasizes the importance of wearing a seatbelt while driving.
