Portsmouth Public Schools has again earned national recognition for its financial planning and budgeting prowess.
The division has received the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for the fiscal year ended 2020. According to the ASBO, this award represents a significant achievement and reflects the division’s commitment to transparency and high-quality financial reporting.
This is another in a long line of awards won by the PPS Department of Budget and Finance, which has been continuously lauded for its work in being the best stewards possible of public funds.
