PPS Feeding Program

Portsmouth Public Schools is maintaining its commitment to provide free breakfast and lunch to children age 18 and under, during these unprecedented times. To better accommodate the community, there are now 8 school sites and 3 delivery buses serving as Grab and Go pickup locations throughout the city of Portsmouth. There are more details regarding the delivery buses' routes and schedules on the "Magic School Bus Delivery Schedule" page.

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, the breakfast and lunch pick-up service at Churchland High School will be relocated to Churchland Middle School due to construction. The times and dates will remain the same.

  • Meals will be offered Monday through Friday
  • School buildings will NOT be open during these times
  • Please do not attempt to call schools directly as their offices are closed
  • The child(ren) MUST be present in order to receive the meals
  • Both meals (breakfast and lunch) will be available for pickup at the same time
  • Meals will be offered in a Grab and Go format; there will be no dining on school premises
