Manor High School named to VHSL Sportsmanship Honor Roll

Manor High School has made the Virginia High School League (VHSL) 2022-23 Fall Sportsmanship Honor Roll, a designation given to celebrate school athletic programs that display great character in competition.

“VHSL activities are an extension of the classroom, and teaching sportsmanship is an essential part of the education process. In addition, sportsmanship is one of the greatest skills we can instill in our student-athletes,” said VHSL Executive Director Dr. Billy Haun. “Each school and community should be proud to be on this honor roll. We feel it’s the VHSL’s highest honor.”

According to the VHSL, in order to qualify for the sportsmanship honor roll, no player or coach at the school can be ejected from any competition. Additionally, no athletic program at the school can have any warning against it.
